Upstream
Upstream, we collaborate with manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners to secure the materials and services essential to network operations. Our procurement and supply chain teams coordinate the acquisition of critical infrastructure, from cell towers and energy supplies to software development and professional services. Third-party logistics and warehousing partners ensure efficient movement of materials.
Operations
Supported by 133,000 employees1, AT&T’s operations encompass deployment, maintenance, cybersecurity and service delivery across our mobility and fiber networks. Our business units focus on delivering customer service, innovation, workforce empowerment, ethics and integrity, health and safety, privacy, regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement.
Downstream
AT&T delivers comprehensive experiences through our retail stores, online platforms, installation and ongoing customer support. We provide 5G, voice, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT) and enterprise network solutions backed by customer service teams who work to ensure reliable performance. Our asset recovery team manages equipment when it reaches end of life, including AT&T wireline assets, and our takeback program helps customers to return devices. We reuse and refurbish or responsibly recycle products, extending value and reducing environmental impact.
